LOCAL TOURISM
Get ready for an adventure! The local natural wonders are absolutely spectacular and offer unforgettable experiences. You'll want to spend at least 2 days to a week soaking up everything this amazing region has to offer. I highly recommend a full week so you can truly indulge and enjoy these breathtaking sights in style!
Tully Gorge
Tully Gorge is the collection point where this huge gorge collects rains for the great Tully river. It's impressive on the kilometre walk to the lake in the mountains how much water is pouring down the rapid descending mountains carving the landscape. Such a lush tropical jungle experience. If you don't think it can get better then let me tell you along Tully falls road is many walks and crystal clear creeks nestled in picturesque scene you will never forget.
Lake Eacham and Lake Barrine
Lake Eacham and Lake Barrine are close regarding Geography and can both be visited on the way up to the cabin or on the journey back down the Gillies range to Cairns. Lake Eacham is a volcanic lake and has a great walking track around the circumference. Great to put a canoe on, for swimming, diving and has great facilities for a Bbq. At Lake Barrine there is also a great walking track to see many giant trees and enjoy nature. There is also a tee house and restaurant if you want to spoil yourself..

Tully Gorge
Millstream falls & Little Millstream Falls
Millstream falls located 25minutes from Ravenshoe is a beautiful timber region waterfall with amazing views and wildlife. Aptly name North Queensland's Wildest falls. This river has a catchment before the falls carved into solid rock
Josephine falls & Babinda Boulders
Josephine falls and the Babinda boulder are very close in proximity to each other and are 22 minutes drive between both. They are a good combination of places to visit on your trip up to the tablelands. The boulders makes a great lunch stop before a 900 meter walk to Josephine falls.
Mt Hypipamee crater & falls
My Hypipamee crater and falls are 36 minutes drive from the Nature & Stuff cabin and is worth the visit.
